This 2325 Trilayer Microporous Separator is designed for lithium-ion battery systems that require both electrochemical performance and enhanced safety. The separator uses a polypropylene outer layer and a polyethylene inner layer, combining mechanical integrity with a thermal shutdown function for safer cell operation. Compared with single-layer polyolefin separators, this trilayer structure offers a more balanced combination of thermal resistance, dimensional stability, and internal short-circuit protection.
