Compare conductive carbon blacks and graphite for laboratory battery electrode formulations. Grades include Super P Li, Super C45, Super C65, Ketjenblack EC-300J and ECP-600JD, LiTX200 and KS-6 graphite.
Choose a grade according to the active material, binder, solvent system and mixing process. Compare the supplier specifications, particle characteristics and surface area where provided, as well as the pack quantity. Additive loading and dispersion need to be evaluated in your formulation; changing grade is not a guaranteed one-for-one substitution or performance improvement.
