Description
Aluminum-plated / Al-clad coin cell cases are designed for advanced lithium battery research, especially high-voltage electrochemical testing, where standard stainless steel cases may show limited stability.
The aluminum-clad structure helps improve the oxidation resistance of the stainless steel case and expands the electrochemical stability window of the positive case. This reduces the risk of Fe element dissolution from the positive case and its migration or deposition on the negative electrode.
With an aluminum plating thickness of approximately 4μm, this product is suitable for high-voltage testing environments. Custom aluminum plating thickness, such as 10μm, can also be quoted separately upon request.
