Description
This ceramic separator is built on a PE base film with a ceramic coating and a PVDF surface coating on the same side. The ceramic layer improves thermal shrinkage resistance and safety, while the PVDF layer helps bond the positive electrode sheet with the separator and improves battery interface quality, hardness, and cycling behavior. The PE film has a melting point of about 140°C, making this separator suitable for higher-safety lithium-ion battery applications.
