Product overview
This graphite rod counter electrode is designed for three-electrode electrochemical measurements that require a practical non-precious auxiliary electrode. It combines a replaceable-size graphite rod with a PTFE connector and metal contact pin.
Key features
- Graphite rod options: Ø3 × 60 mm, Ø6 × 60 mm, Ø6 × 80 mm, or Ø6 × 120 mm
- PTFE connector provides electrical insulation and easy handling
- Metal contact pin supports connection to common electrode leads
- Designed for use as a counter or auxiliary electrode
Applications
Suitable for compatible three-electrode cells used in electrochemistry, corrosion research, electrocatalysis, electrode-material evaluation, bulk electrolysis, and related laboratory testing.
Selection and compatibility
Select rod diameter and length according to the cell geometry and desired counter-electrode area. Verify compatibility with the electrolyte and operating potential window before use; graphite is not inert under every electrochemical condition.
Package contents
One complete graphite rod electrode in the selected size.
