Description

Ketjenblack ECP-600JD is a conductive carbon black powder used in lithium battery electrode formulation. It is commonly added to the cathode or anode slurry to improve electronic conductivity and support uniform current distribution within the electrode.

Compared with general carbon black, Ketjenblack has a highly developed carbon structure, allowing effective conductive network formation at relatively low loading levels. This makes it suitable for battery research where conductivity, slurry dispersion, and active material utilization are important.

It is widely used in lithium-ion battery research, sodium-ion battery research, supercapacitor electrodes, and other electrochemical energy storage studies.

Technical Specifications

Parameter Unit Specification Typical Result
DBP Absorption mL/100g 440–510 480
Bulk Density g/L 17.0–50.0 31.6
200 Mesh Pass % ≥98.0 100
325 Mesh Pass % ≥80.0 99.8
Moisture % ≤1.0 after production 0

The high DBP absorption value indicates a highly structured carbon network, making ECP-600JD suitable for conductive additive applications in battery electrode formulations.
