Description

KS-6 conductive graphite is a feather-like graphite powder used as a conductive additive in lithium-ion battery electrode formulations, especially for cathode systems.

Unlike conventional conductive carbon black, KS-6 has a graphite-based structure and is commonly used together with Super P or similar conductive carbons. This combination can help improve electrode flexibility and support conductive network formation in coated electrode sheets.

KS-6 is generally not recommended for single use. In practical formulations, the KS-6:SP ratio is commonly adjusted around 0.5–1 depending on the active material, binder system, and slurry process.

Key Features

  • Conductive graphite powder for lithium battery electrodes
  • Feather-like graphite particle morphology
  • Mainly used in lithium-ion battery cathode formulations
  • Commonly mixed with Super P conductive carbon
  • Supports conductive network formation
  • Helps improve electrode sheet flexibility
  • Powder conductivity of approximately 500–1000 S/cm
  • Suitable for formulation comparison and process optimization
