Description
Toray Carbon Paper TGP-H-030 is a carbon fiber composite paper widely used in fuel cells, electrolyzers, and advanced electrochemical systems. It functions as a gas diffusion layer (GDL) or catalyst backing layer, enabling efficient electron transport and uniform gas distribution across the electrode.
Manufactured from PAN-based carbon fibers (TORAYCA), the material provides high tensile strength, excellent conductivity, and a stable porous structure. These properties ensure efficient gas transport, low electrical resistance, and long-term durability in electrochemical environments.
With a thickness of approximately 110 μm, the TGP-H-030 variant is designed for applications requiring thinner electrode structures and improved interface contact compared to thicker carbon papers.
